Who it's for

  • Developers who are new to agentic coding tools and want a structured start
  • Engineers who use Claude Code daily but never set up CLAUDE.md, hooks or subagents
  • Leads who want a shared team setup: permissions, secrets, Git workflow, code review
  • Anyone who wants to know when not to hand a task to an agent

What you'll be able to do

  • Install Claude Code, run sessions and use the permission model and slash commands (Getting Started)
  • Write a CLAUDE.md and prompts with @ references and Goal + Constraints + Criteria (CLAUDE.md, Prompt Basics)
  • Run features through Define → Plan → Implement → Summarize, tracked in a .tasks/ folder that survives sessions
  • Test, debug and refactor with Claude behind checkpoints, and handle context rot, compaction and session handoffs
  • Build rules, slash commands, skills and hooks, and deliver through reviewable Git and CI workflows with scoped permissions
  • Connect MCP servers, build subagents and builder/validator pipelines, run agent teams and Ralph loops, and package it all as a plugin
Hands-on

What you'll build

01

A CLAUDE.md for MeetingMemo (Next.js or FastAPI track)

02

Task filtering, task dependencies and notifications for MeetingMemo, each built with the Define → Plan → Implement workflow

03

A rule, a slash command, a skill and a hook for MeetingMemo

04

Three MeetingMemo subagents and a supervised pipeline for a time-tracking feature

05

A plugin that packages your subagents, commands, skills and hooks for reuse

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Getting Started, CLAUDE.md and Project Onboarding are free with a free account. The rest of the course needs a purchase or the subscription.

How long does it take?

Each tutorial lists its own estimate, from 30 to 80 minutes. Across all 24, the listed estimates add up to roughly 17 to 24 hours. Every tutorial has a hands-on exercise and a knowledge check.

How does it relate to the other courses?

It is the base. Claude Code Mastery applies these techniques to whole projects. Spec-Driven Development & BMAD adds a spec-first process on top. Start here unless you already use hooks, subagents and MCP.
